What is in the NIA App?

The NIA Version 2 App includes the HTML files of the text of the tutorials and linked information, the simulator NEURON (version 7.6.5) and simulation files, PDFs of original papers, and the set of minimovies. It is not necessary to be connected to the Internet for NIA to work.

NIA text is written in HTML format and packaged into a dektop application using Electron.

NIA will not interfere with existing installations of NEURON; it will use the special version bundled within the NIA App.
