Using NIA in lecture or lab

We and our colleagues have used the NIA tutorials in many different teaching settings involving undergraduate, graduate and medical students. We describe several of these approaches in an article entitled "Neurons in Action in Action," forthcoming in the on-line journal Brains, Minds, and Media.

Here we provide teaching materials sent to us by colleagues, as well as some of our own materials. If you would be willing to share problem sets, novel uses of NIA, course outlines, etc., for posting on this web site, please email them to stuart@med.unc.edu.

The forum on this site also provides a mechanism for sharing NIA teaching ideas.
